Uncertainty is the new certainty. During these turbulent financial times, many of us are stressed and/or overwhelmed with money fears and anxieties. How do we navigate our way through deeply personal and sometimes shameful fears around money?
Money is typically our number one source of stress. Multiple research supports that fighting about money in the first five years of marriage is a stronger predictor of divorce than fighting about topics such as sex, the children or in-laws.
In 2011, The Journal of Financial Therapy published a ground-breaking article which identified that we all have “money scripts”. These are defined as “unconscious, trans-generational beliefs about money” that are “developed in childhood and drive adult financial behaviours”.
During this thought-provoking and lively webinar, U.K. psychotherapist Gavin Sharpe will invite participants to reflect on their own money scripts. Drawing on his own professional background in business, Gavin will offer a definition of financial wellbeing and provide some tools to manage financial stress and anxiety.
Concepts covered will include an exploration of: –
- Money Scripts
- Financial Abuse
- Financial Betrayal/Infidelity
Join this Zoom webinar on June 4th at 11:30 (CET/Paris time) at and discover what money means to you and how to manage your current and future emotions around the topic. Please contact Gavin below to register.
