PERFECTIONISM & SHAME: GAVIN SHARPE ON RIVIERA RADIO, NOV 2021

What is perfectionism?  How does this link to shame?  Why is shame considered as a mental health issue rather than just one of the many emotions we experience?

Carl Jung referred to shame as the swampland of the soul.  Shame is the fear of being unlovable. It is the opposite of feeling worthy and owning our story.  Why does this hold so many of us back?

Listen to Gavin Sharpe’s November appearance on 106.5FM Riviera Radio on Perfection and Shame.  Hear Gavin answer listeners questions on:-

– What’s the difference between being a high achiever and perfectionist?

– What’s the difference between shame and guilt?

– What is the link between shame and trauma?

Tune in.  Lean in.  Prioritise your wellbeing.
