Riviera Radio and Gavin Sharpe Renew Wellbeing Window

Riviera Radio and Riviera Wellbeing have announced a continuation of their unique partnership and will work together in 2022.

The two organisations came together in 2021 to create the Wellbeing Window.  On the first Wednesday of each month, U.K. psychotherapist Gavin Sharpe joins the Full English Breakfast Show to present a mental health topic.  Listeners are invited to write in and their questions are answered live on air.

Gavin Sharpe of Riviera Wellbeing comments:

“I am grateful to Riviera Radio for having the courage to embrace this mental health initiative.  We took a risk in putting this together.  Mental health and cornflakes are not an obvious mix. It has paid off as measured by the number of listeners who choose to write in.

Sarah Lycett and Rob Harrison have a rare ability to treat difficult topics not only with sensitivity but also with appropriate lightness.   In this way, people can easily relate to the topics which have included healthy sex, people pleasing, addiction and infidelity.

Paul Kavanagh, Managing Director of Riviera Radio comments:

“We are excited that Gavin is onboard for another year.  I am proud of the work we are doing.  We get to shine a light on issues that affect so many of us and yet are not always spoken about.  The chemistry between Gavin, Sarah and Rob is terrific.  I hope we will develop this partnership further.

The Wellbeing Window features at 09:00 on the first Wednesday of the month at 09:00 (CET) on The Full English Breakfast Show.
