STRESS, BURNOUT & FATIGUE Nov 2nd 9AM(CET): 106.5FM Riviera Radio

Stressed?  Burned out?  Suffering from chronic fatigue?

November 2nd is National Stress Awareness Day.  It was created as a time to be aware of the stress in today’s world, appreciate its impact, and strive to mitigate the damage it can do. I will mark this occasion on The Full English Breakfast Show on 106.5FM Riviera Radio with a lively discussion on stress, burnout and fatigue.

According to the Mental Health Foundation, at some point in the last year, 74% of us have felt so stressed that we have felt unable to cope. Burnout is on the rise.  Since the outbreak of Covid-19, a variety of new stressors have arisen and seem never ending.  As a result, many of us are at greater risk of burnout.  Is this why so many people are quitting their jobs?

How can we recognise the signs of burnout and what can we do to prevent and alleviate chronic stress and/or burnout?

Tune-in.  Lean-in.  Prioritise your wellbeing.
