Understanding Addiction: June 2nd, 09:00 (CET), 106.5FM Riviera Radio

Are we born addicts?  Is it a choice?  Can one be addicted to anything?  Is addiction genetic?

Addiction is often referred to as the “hole in the sole.”  It robs the addict of their freedom and control.  It devastates the lives of loved ones who are often torn between offering support and love and/or ultimatums.

Most of us are familiar with alcohol and substance abuse addictions.   However even professionals in the therapy field disagree on whether one can be addicted to certain behaviours like sex.  What about work addiction?  Computer game addiction?  Should those process addictions be treated in the same way?

Tune in to 106.5FM Riviera Radio on June 2nd at 09:00 (CET) and listen to Gavin Sharpe on The Full English Breakfast Show.
