Inside The Mind Of A Lawyer: Why Lawyers Think and Behave the Way They Do

  • Have you ever wanted to get inside the mind of a lawyer to understand them better?
  • Are you curious to find out what differentiates lawyers from the general population?
  • Would you like to discover if great lawyers naturally make great leaders?
  • What’s the key for all of us (lawyers or not) to unlock our full potential?

If you work with or around lawyers, you won’t want to miss this entertaining breakfast seminar, hosted by market leading recruitment company Totum and with guest speaker, psychotherapist and international leadership coach, Gavin Sharpe.

Sometimes labelled as insecure overachievers, lawyers possess a unique cluster of personality characteristics. Understanding these characteristics can unlock a law firm’s potential to maximise their people potential and impact the bottom line.

As law firms grapple with the post-pandemic world, a new war for talent is emerging. In addition to the challenges facing firms in hiring and retaining talent, law firm leaders are turning their attention increasingly to peak-performance.  How can firms maximise the full potential of their lawyers, especially in these uncertain and volatile times?  What role can non-lawyers play in facilitating lawyers to flourish?

Gavin Sharpe will share the psychology and science behind the personality of the lawyer as well as professional and personal anecdotes from his 30 years of working with lawyers. Gavin believes the law firms who best appreciate the nature of lawyer’s personality, are the ones best positioned to win the new war for talent.

Come and join us on December XXX for this lively and informative breakfast presentation and to learn more about how your firm can gain a competitive edge in the new war for talent.
